Maxguard GM is a metallic gelcoat for general use, designed for spraying, with excellent mechanical properties and maximum resistance to weather conditions.
It is based on IZO/NPG resin.
The SA version is suitable for spraying.
Recommendations:
- Mix the gelcoat thoroughly before use,
- temperature of the room, raw materials and tools used should be within the range of 18 – 25°C, with relative humidity below 70%,
- amount of catalyst used (MEKP) should be within the range of 1.5 – 2.5%,
- thickness of the layer of gelcoat applied should be within the range of 600 – 1000 µm.
Maxguard GM meets the requirements of classification associations such as Det Norske Veritas and Lloyd’s Register of Shipping for the construction of small vessels.
Maxguard GM gel-coats occur in defined colours, in compliance with the Ashland GM Colours palette.
The minimum number of orders from the aforementioned colour pallets is 1 hob (approx. 20 kg).
