GLASS MICROSPHERE

Glass microsphere – a filler in the form of white, loose, powder (sodium-calcium-boron glass), composed of perfectly smooth and spherical particles.

Glass microsphere is characterized by high mechanical strength and low density, which effectively lowers the weight of the finished product and increases the smoothness, flowability and wettability of the surface.

Typical properties:

• SiO₂ content – 68-70%,
• Bulk density – from 0,12 g/cm³,
• Average grain size – 10-125 µm.
